Patricia Riggs was appointed to the board in 2011.She is passionate about ensuring Gila Bend students receive an excellent education that will prepare them well for college,a career or whatever path they pursue after high school. She is also a strong believer of community engagement and giving educators the support they need to be successful with every student. She married Christopher Riggs and together they have two children, Shawn Riggs and Levi Riggs. As a native of Gila Bend Patricia attended Gila Bend Schools since Kindergarten and graduated in 1994. She has had both of her sons attend Gila Bend Schools as well. Shawn graduated in 2015 and is attending Glendale Community College and will be transferring to NAU. Levi is a high school sophomore and will be a graduate in 2018.
